You Become Your Thoughts: Dr. Brynn's Brain-Based Productivity Boosters
You've heard it before "You are your thoughts!", but likely didn't know that this is corroborated by neuroscience: every thought you have (consciously AND unconsciously) is an activation of neurons and networks that prefer to 'hard-wire' together. What this means is that you don't just become the thoughts you have psychologically - you physically and anatomically become your thoughts! (think this through and it's hard not to be scared).
Further, psychologically, thoughts become actions, actions become behaviors, behaviors become routines, and routines become habits - it doesn't take long before an internal thought isn't just an external reality for you, it could be a behavioral trait you develop (whether you're aware of it or not!).
There is obvious downside to this phenomenon, there is also good news: practicing functional, healthy, positive, motivational self-talk and most of the battle is won - mindset is (almost) everything in how motivated, productive, performative, and successful you are!
